We just returned from Puebla after staying two nights at the Hotel Puebla Plaza where I will NEVER stay again. The rate was fairly cheap (quadruple room - two double beds for about $65USD) however, after staying there I know why. The location is great for walking around the zocalo and historic center, but the location is the only positive... more

We stayed at the Hotel Puebla Plaza in July 2005; it was recommended by an American who resides in Veracruz. We were very pleased! The hotel is right around the corner from the cathedral which is next to the zocalo. It is in an old building, but has been remodeled and has modern conveniences.
