My friend and I spent 3 nights at the Hacienda after staying at Cuixmala, the sister property located about 2.5 hours away. We had a wonderful stay--lounging by the pool, horseback riding through the orchards, picnicking in some of the most picturesque settings, watching DVDs in the cozy entertainment room and drinking on the rooftop patio. I stayed at Hacienda de San Antonio after exploring the wonderful colonial cities of San Miguel de Allende and Guanjuato and it was perfect. Excellent food, huge bedrooms, tennis court, huge swimming pool, riding and birding. It is so romantic and extemely relaxing. It is a truly special place. I loved it and would definitely go back. more
