The food, at any time, was absolutely great. Our biggest concern was the lack of towels in the rooms. We stayed there for 5 days. Some days, were were given a hand towel and 2 bath towels, other days, we were not given a floor towel and we were never given a face towel. We were surprised that they walked... more

I had stayed before in this hotel on a business trip and i just absolutely loved the breakfast buffet. Lots of mexican food and they will make eggs any way you want them. They have a great variety. Being fully jetlaged from Europe i really appreciate having such a rich selection from 6 o-clock in the morning. My only complain... more

I have stayed in this hotel on at least 15 occations, outstanding place. I can't speak for the older of the two buildings that comprise the Araiza (because i would always upgrage to the new wing for $7 per night), but I cant think of a single thing to complain about (and i am rather picky about hotels). Pool, jacuzi,... more

My family I stayed here January 21st through 23rd 2005 and the stay was great! I can not say enough about the staff - they were friendly, courteous and just extremely nice. They spoke english and spanish quite fluently. I had reserved the rooms through the website (lexington services) for $75.00 and when other family members needed rooms (we ended... more

Mexicali has very strong ties to American business money and it shows more clearly here at the Araiza than anywhere else in the city of 1MM. This hotel has a distinctly American feel, once inside it looks familiar, similar to any good hotel you'd find north of the border. The rooms are clean and have all the amenities of a... more

I stayed at this hotel for a while for bussiness purposes. Installations are very good but staff attitude is very bad, they do not know what service means; also I did found roaches inside my room and nobody took care of it, I asked for the manager and again, nobody faced this terrible situation. I can say the hotel is... more

My husband has made several trips to Mexicali and stayed at the Araiza. I traveled with him on his last trip. We had a groung floor suite that faced the main pool. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. There is an in-room hair dryer and mini frig but no coffeemaker. There is also no complimentary coffee or continental breakfast... more
