Stayed at the Springs many many times. A classy, perfect place to enjoy a few days in the mountains. Relaxing, tons of stuff to do. Staff is helpful and very nice. The hotel itself is breathtaking. more

We really had a brief stopover at the Banff Springs as part of our Rocky Mountaineer trip so it is hard for me to appraise it with a higher score. The hotel is extraordinary. Large, imposing and in a beautiful spot. It is a bit of a warren to navigate! Our room was lovely - no view but it was... more

The Fairmont Banff Springs has one-hundred years of history and the charm to go with it. Moreover, the hotel/resort lives not only off its palatial buildings and services, but also from its scenic and majestic surroundings. From rivers and trails to small town charm and mountains the Banff Springs property has it all. The $200 per night bargain afforded me... more

Gorgeous hotel.... mountain/lake scenery breathtaking. Beautiful view from the room of snow-capped mountains. The hotel is big... you'll get lost, but happily... great place to explore! This was a retreat for the rich and famous at one time... and it is no wonder. more

Just at the start of this report, let me say that this hotel has existed in one shape or form since 1888, it has around 770 rooms and that it's located in a National Park where a virtual moratorium exists on development and land and space are priceless. This is to address some of the complaints of previous reviews we... more

Stayed here 2 nights in early September. A stunning location and stunning views. The room I had was immaculate. The services here were generally excellent. Concierge and Bell Desks both very good. Check-in at Reception was stress free - my room wasn't ready so they sent me to the bar to wait (OK by me), and came and found me... more

We reserved one of the two "Spa" Suites almost a year in advance. Arrival at the hotel is very organized. An employee is standing at the entrance to the driveway and you give him your name. He then radios ahead and directs you to the next available bellman standing curbside. As a Fairmont President's Club member, I was announced as... more

What a wonderful Hotel !!! I was delighted from the minute we arrived until the sad time we had to leave. My Fiance' and I had a 1 night/2day whistle stop tour of the Rockies. I booked the hotel 1 day prior to our arrival and got a decent rate as the hotel was pretty much full. The drive through... more

We stayed at the castle for 5 days. We originally booked a Junior King suite but were upgraded to a One Bedroom Suite. It was a fantastic room with a million dollar view. We joined the Presidents Club when booking and booked directly through the hotel. We have been going to Banff for over 25 years and this is the... more
