Stayed in a newly renovated room with King Bed, which was absolutely nice. The Hotel lies downtown, easy to reach and with good parking opportunities (valet or also road-side parking). The service was always very helpful, but not all the time perfectly informed (e.g. about Starwood Preferred Guest benefits). We had a very helpful young lady at the day of... more

I travel to Edmonton A LOT for work, and I have stayed in at least 4 hotels around downtown and south side Edmonton. Westin Edmonton is a well-run shop. I like their cocktail hours before you head back to your hotel room, and I like the restaurant choices around there. Japanese Village is a great restaurant for a causal and... more

A/C did not work in the hotel during the entire stay. Technicians "were working on it" for 3 days... result, the room was beastly hot. The rooms were average at best. Strong smell of mold in the rooms. The staff was junior, almost trainee level. Breakfast and room service options are limited...be aware the limited menu after 10pm is VERY... more

My wife and I spent one night in late June at the Westin Edmonton. We paid C$99 per night (C$108 with taxes) this was the lowest available rate we found on the hotel website. It required payment in advance with a no cancellations allowed. The reason we chose this hotel was to be close to the Alamo rental car office... more

I stayed for 2 nights on the executive floor and had a few issues: 1) the bed sheets were clean, but the duvet and cover sheets had several stains. 2) I forgot a few documents in the room, and called housekeeping on the same day to have them mailed back to me. This is when the headache began. I was... more

We booked into Westin using Priceline paying $ 95 for the room on the same day of arrival on a Sunday. The hotel is rather empty and we were upgraded to the 19th floor with a partial river view. Room size is reasonable with all amenities with the exception of pairs of slippers which is becoming a standard in high... more

I got this place for $80/night, which was an amazing bargain considering its rack rate of $379 on SPG.com I was not impressed with the staff at check-in; they claimed they only had double rooms available, despite me calling well over a month in advance asking for a king bed, which was available at that time. I am a SPG... more

Stayed in a deluxe room with two double beds on the 11th (executive) floor for three nights. Checkin was good and quick. The lobby was traditionally decorated and I found it welcoming. You have to put your key card into a slot in the elevator/lift to access the guest floors, which I thought was rather odd and indicated that there... more

My husband and I stayed here Dec. 7 - 10th on a late anniversary trip and to visit friends and relatives who didn't make it to our wedding last year (previously stayed here with my sister for my bridal shower in Aug '06). We were upgraded to a King room on the 15th floor, there was chocolate covered strawberries and... more

My room on renovated 12th floor was a good size, clean and modern. King bed very comfortable. Two head showerhead was good. Free Starbucks coffee in room also a bonus. Complimentary apples and eggnog a few days before xmas was also a nice touch. Breakfast in hotel restaurant was expensive but very tasty and nice presentation. Pool and sauna were... more
