I was generally disappointed with this hotel. The rooms were either too hot or too cold. We could not get the temperature regulated. The rooms were somewhat grungy as well. My grandson had a little ball with him with a velcro like exterior. When he rolled that ball across the floor, it was clogged with hair time and time again.... more

Wingate is a decent hotel at average rates. The breakfast bar is great. The breakfast bar is one of the reasons we return to this hotel. Stayed at hotel for 3 days. Booked on line for a cheaper rate, still got charged the same as a regular booking. The beds were old and worn, rooms and service were a bit below standard for the price of the room. The hallways were filthy, the breakfast was good, make sure you get there on time tho. Every trip to the Wingate has been terrible. The hotel it's self is fine, new and clean etc. But the service has been horrible both times I have stayed here. Between screwing up reservations, wrong rooms, smoking rooms instead of non-smoking etc and just the rudeness of the staff. Not a great place in my opinion. more
