I work in the hospitality industry, and a friend of mine naturally asked me where the best place to stay in Tofino is. Without a moment of hesitation I told him, "The Wick Inn". He was planning to propose to his girlfriend, and I knew from working there previously that they'd treat him very well, and go above and beyond... more

Just got back from a stay at the Wickaninnish and while the view and the location was amazing everything else just didnt meet the standards they set with their high prices. When I checked out their website I was sure this was going to be a really nice resort with all the great things going for it. Upon arrival we... more

Our suite was in the Beach building - very disappointing. The view was disappointing. The building is very well fitted, the suite was furnished very nicely and had all the usual amenities. The TV is in the lounge, not the bedroom and is at floor level - quite odd. The hotel does not have air conditioning and it was impossible... more

I am writing this review nearly a year after our stay in July, 2007, because this place has stayed with me. The views from our room and the property were unspoiled and amazing. The room was beautiful (as the balcony view brought the outside in) and so romantic (fireplace was a nice touch) that I felt a twinge of regret... more

We stayed 2 nights at the Wick, complete with fine dining and spa. The price for us (even with a special) was a splurge. On the outside, the Wick looks like a basic 'wood siding' condominium, however, once checked in, we were in love with the place. The room was comfortable and elegant, the bathroom luxurious, and the details so... more

So far I have had horrible customer service from this hotel. I am attempting to purchase a (large) gift certificate, and have been given the run around. I am quite shocked, considering this is a beautiful high end place. I phoned, and was told I needed to fax in a form. I promptly did this, even though it was terribly... more

We went to Tofino on the recommendation of some friends who spent their honeymoon there and decided to stay at the Wickaninnish to finish our rockies tour with a bit of luxury. The hotel has a great location and the room was pure luxury. One thing to be aware of is that there are two locations that you can stay;... more

My wife and I stayed at the "Wick" for a brief spell during our honeymoon in British Columbia. We spent 3 nights there and the quality of the place is unmistakable. The rooms all overlook the Pacific with what they call a "wooded sea view" which essentially means there are large trees in front of the windows. They do not... more

This has got to be the best hotel I have been to. We had an amazing view from our three massive windows - including a view from our double soaker tub!! We were on honeymoon and this really was the perfect place for that. The staff were so helpful and while we were at dinner each night (eat in The... more

Six of us stayed at the Wik for 2 nights. We asked to have the best rooms in the place - when we got there I noticed one of the pictures in a brochure - a much better room than we had. We were all on the third floor - perhaps the best rooms are the corner suites. I did... more
