My husband, mother and I stayed at Abigail's during the last week of March 2008. This hotel is a delight. The staff was helpful and provided great tips for dining locations. The rooms were clean and cozy. Wireless was free. Abigail's offers a breakfast each morning for $15. After the first day trying it out, we decided to start each... more

We took a four day break from Calgary and stayed at Abigails. On previous breaks to Victoria, we have stayed at Laurel Point and Executive House, and they were just fine. But this time we wanted a more personal experience and something smaller. Abigails did not disappoint us in any way. Location: A short very pleasant walk from the harbor,... more

My husband and I had the good fortune of staying at Abigail's for a business conference in early March. What a delight from beginning to end! Everything was perfect. The staff were the best, the chef was the best, the beds are the best, the service was without a doubt the best. We had to check out after 2 nights... more

Recently, I had the pleasure of staying at Abigail’s hotel while attending a business meeting in Victoria. The rooms are very clean and quiet and very comfortable. The bathroom was truly beautiful with a large claw foot tub and a giant sunflower shower head. The breakfast served buffet style was perfect, offering fresh fruit, cereals as well as a hot... more

I recently had occasion to be on business in Victoria, BC. I frequently choose smaller properties when I travel preferring the higher level of service and the unique nature of independently owned and operated hotels. My expectations were consistently and thoroughly exceeded at Abigail’s Hotel from the moment I made my reservation until the after I reluctantly checked out. The... more

After having a terrible experience at the B&B in Nanoose Bay where we had reservations for our honeymoon, we called Abigail's and were able to get last minute accommodations. The staff were amazing, and so were the amenities. The rooms are fabulously appointed and very romantic. The breakfasts were delicious and the appetizers in the evening were a tasty surprise.... more

My wife anf stayed at the Abigail's hotel for two nights in our trip to Western Canada. I booked the room through Expedia at a very reasonable price. The hotel is easy to reach by car, and it is just in some 10 minutes away from the herbour. The hotel is simply perfect, the room was big and it was... more

While our new family consists of only my wife and I, we are unanimous in the sentiment that Abigail's was as close to perfect we could have asked for in a place to spend our first few nights as a new married couple. The service was impeccable, the gracious staff friendly, professional, and helpful, and the locale pleasant. Whether it... more

We had the Garden Room which is behind reception so has no views and is somewhat dark. First impressions were not so good. However the room did have a lounge area and was well decorated, clean and felt very comfortable. After 4 days we found we had settled in and were thoroughly enjoying it. Almost like being home each day.... more

My wife and I stayed at Abigail's five years ago in the Orchid suite, then repeated the visit last month. It was exactly as we remembered, though the room had been updated since our previous stay. The property, rooms and breakfast are spectacular. The service was also excellent. The staff made reservations for us at our favorite restaurant, Cafe Boa,... more
