First of all, this hotel is not in Victoria's best neighborhood. But that's reflected in the price. I haven't visited the pub, but I would expect it to have riffraff. I'd have to say this hotel was pretty inexpensive when booking as compared to other Victoria hotels. But checking in was difficult as they had this 20 yr old looking guy with "trainee" on his name tag. He was not very helpful and swore when a nearby fly wouldn't leave him alone.
