When we arrived, they gave us a room that smelled so bad that first thing we did was to open the window. When we looked around, it made us feel quite uneasy. Carpet was not vacuumed, it was full of papers etc. Bed was made really sloppily, so when we lifted up the covers, the sheets were wrinkled with questionable... more

I truly am sorry that your experience was not exceptional and apologize that you feel you were treated unfairly. As I’ve said in other Trip Advisor messages, if you do not feel you are receiving good value for your money at our hotel please speak with the manager or leave contact information so I may get in touch with you....

My husband and I made the mistake of staying at this motel. We were coming over from the lower mainland to attend a memorial service held at this facility, so we just decided to book a room for convenience. NOTE --- anybody who books these rooms for more than $59.00 for a single king bed is paying too much. The... more

Booked this room through Victoria Clipper. My sister and I stayed one night in December 2007 on a Christmas shopping trip from Seattle. We found the room small but certainly liveable, clean, and the front desk people were very helpful. They stored our luggage until check-in time and were generally very pleasant. The food in the hotel's restaurant was very... more

Actually, I can't remember which Traveller's Inn I stayed at; there are so bloody many of them in Victoria. Which tells you that they're doing something right, I guess. Great coffee in the rooms, and they'll give you more for free if you drink a lot of coffee like I do. OK, coffee's a priority...what else? I liked that they... more

Making reservations directly with the Traveller's Inn, I was impressed with the politeness and complete interest the staff gave me. That confirmed our stay. Upon arriving the over all appearance from the parking lot to the rooms were spotless clean, The employees were very professional in there duties from the front desk / restaurant / housekeeping. The restaurant has an... more

Two months after the fact, I'm still outraged by the treatment I received at this hotel. I checked in using my bank card so the clerk put a $100 deposit along with the room charge against my account. I had worked hard all day and by the time I got to the room I didn't want to move again for... more

I'm sorry that your experience was not positive. I urge anyone who has not had a positive experience to contact me within an appropriate timeframe so I can have an opportunity to remedy the situation appropriately. There are many ways to make contact with management. All Traveller's Inn's are equipped with business cards at the Front Desk that have the...

We booked Travellers Inn City Centre for three nights. We checked out after the first night. A leg on one of the beds had been broken off and had been repaired by stacking two telephone directories and a bible under it. The bathtub tiles were edged in black mould, the counters (some were broken) were dirty and one third of... more

I am more than suprised with this review. I am not familiar with any room in our hotel in such a condition. We do however offer 12 smoking rooms that are situated over our karaoke lounge that offer an uncomfortable noise factor. Each guest that checks into one of these rooms is told about the noise factor and are usually...

When I first arrived at the city center Travllers Inn I thought this dosen't seem to bad. Normally I usually just drive past the travellers Inns but this time I thought why not give them a chance. What a mistake that was. The front desk lady who checked us in didn't get our request right when we asked for 2... more

To back up that statement we guarantee you a clean room, friendly faces and a warm environment close to that of a second home. Each room is quality checked by our head housekeeper and all staff...

Stayed here for 2 nights upon our arrival in Canada and a further night after visiting Tofino. Really impressed. Only a 10 minute walk from the main attractions of Victoria. Room quite large with two huge beds so we could get over our jet lag! Free internet access a bonus to check emails for a few moments and a swimming... more

We stayed at the Traveller's Inn City Center for two nights. The room was not especially clean but we decided to give it a chance. It only got worse. There was no air conditioning so we had to sleep with the window open. It was extremely noisy outside with traffic, people talking and yelling as they left the bar, sirens,... more
