Having stayed at the Pan Pacific Seattle, I expected to have the same great experience I did there at the Pan Pacific Mountainside. It was not quite the same experience as Seattle but it was still good. The front desk personnel were very friendly and always said hello as we walked by the lobby. The hotel is conveniently located next... more

For $250 a night (worked out to $300 a night with taxes and parking), did not expect hotel to be filled with young people who looked like they belonged to a gang, swearing their way around the lobby and elevators. Noisy at night with people partying on their patios. Couple of pieces of broken glass on our patio when we... more

Wanted to share our experience at the Pan Pacific Mountainside. My family (me, wife and 6 yr old triplets) have vacationed at Whistler before. In the past, we've stayed at the First Tracks Lodge in the Creekside village. We were delighted with First Tracks and would have stayed there again this year. But ,when we were booking in October, First... more

Just returned from a fabulous trip at the Pan Pacific Mountainside. All of the reviews about the proximity to lifts are completely true! The rooms are wonderful with fireplace on at the flick of a switch - super, super comfortable bed that conveniently pops into the wall for more room during the day...fluffy pillows and lots of them, deep tub... more

I was here for a conference in October 2007, so I wasn't here for the ski season. That said, this hotel is in a great location, walkable to lots of restaurants and things to do. We had a one bedroom suite that included a pull-out couch in front of the fireplace in the living room. Since there was two of... more

Stayed at the Mountainside during the last week of February and were very pleased with the hotel. As others have already commented, its main attraction is the location as both the Whistler & Blackcomb gondolas are literally 20 metres from the hotel door and you can ski right back down to the same place....after this you will never consider getting... more

Just returned from "snow" drenched Whistler. We chose the Pan Pacific Mountainside mainly for its location and we were not disappointed. The Blackcomb and Whistler Gondolas are just outside the door. We were very happy with our condo, very clean and the facilities in the kitchen were excellent, although we did not get to use them much. The bathroom looked... more

From the moment we checked in we loved this hotel. The valet took all our luggage to the room then took our ski's down to the ski locker on the bottom floor. We had a studio room with the pull down Murphy bed, and like others can vouch that it is 100% comfortable. The kitchenette was first class and the... more

Stayed in a studio room (booked through wotif.com for $225 a night - a good price for peak season). Knew it was going to be small being a studio, but it was very well equipped and in good condition. Full kitchen, dining area, large closet, decent bathroom and a tiny area (once the murphy bed was 'released' from the wall)... more
