This hotel is situated in an industrial area with easy access to the freeway and MacKay bridge. The view from the front of the hotel is the harbour and the MacKay bridge. Not the newest furniture but a great room for a decent price. Fabulous reading program too where they lend out and give away books. Really nice breakfast. more

We stayed our first night in Nova Scotia at The Country Inns and Suites at Dartmouth and found it to be very comfortable. The suite we booked was well equipped and clean. We had a King sized bed which was very comfortable. Bathroom facilities were adequate. Not a great deal of space but a nice shower and all very clean.... more

I stayed in a one bedroom suite with a king sized bed. It was large, clean and comfortable. They offered complimentary breakfast and wireless high speed internet. Stayed at Country Inn Dartmouth in Oct 2004. First time in this chain so I went in neutral on an opinion. Booked a two room suite which was very roomy. Continental breakfast was basic but good--you won't eat like a king but you won't starve either. But keep in mind this hotel receives a fair amount of tourism bus business... more

I had booked a Suite for 2 nights..when we arrived the front clerk noticed that the 2 children were wearing hockey jackets and automaticly assumed that we were with a hockey team that was staying at the hotel..he then demanded that we put up a $150.00 deposit for each night that we were staying plus the cost of the room.... more
