“A Fine Friendly Inn”

This is a fine, friendly Inn. The proprietress is quite helpful. The property, a reconditioned old Inn, is quite charming and well-furnished. It is located close to all the attractions of the town. The only drawback is that it has three floors of rooms, and no elevator. more

If you are going to cross sea from P.E.I to New Scotia by ferry, or just travelling to of from the Cape Breton Island, and need a night stay, try to reach the town of Pictou and then be prepared to find a fine stay in the Auberge Walker Inn. It is very possible that you would be pleasantly surprised... more

I read the Scottish lady's review after booking our room and became a bit concerned that we would not enjoy our stay there, but we were quite pleased with the whole experience.
