The first thing that we liked about The Braeside Inn was the setting. It is in a slightly elevated position in beautiful gardens just a few minutes from the sea front. This is an 18 room hotel located just a short walk from the Pictou harbor. The proprietors are very friendly and helpful and take a personal interest in their guests. Wireless internet is available, but spotty particulary at the end of the hotel where we were located; however, the proprietor indicated that this was going to be imporved the following... more

When we arrived a large function was taking place but the owners had thoughtfully kept a parking space free for us right by the front door.
