My golf weekend group stayed here - proximity to Niagara Falls and price were main reasons. This place shouldn't even get one star. They say that they have recently renovated this dump! The furniture had big pieces missing from it. There was a big screen TV that they stored in the family unit that we were in....it had a cracked screen. One of the beds had either blood or some other bodily fluid on the sheets.... more

The Arkona is a beautiful, family oriented motel. The staff member at the desk was fluent in several languages by the sounds of it. Their pool was filled with nice water. I wouldn't even give this place 1 star. This is a dump and attracts hookers and strippers from the clubs down the street. We saw quite a few "Strange" people coming and going and music from cars in the parking lot. This place may have been good in the day but if you want a sleezy motel and dirty rooms... more
