I stayed here recently because it was a better deal that other properties. Close to the Rideau Canal, downtown, and the University of Ottawa, you get a full apartment instead of a hotel room. I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Nice, clean, friendly stuff, fully equipped kitchen, computer with hi-speed internet and the printer in the room (even though printer had no ink in it :-), great location and all that for the price of $99/night. Even though I have read the review about the size of the suite, I am still pleasantly surprised by it. Not only is it very spacious, but the facilities are good. They provided good quality utensils in the kitchen. There is even free laundry in the hotel. The only negative is the underground parking. The driveway is steep and narrow.... more
