I stayed at the Doubletree for meetings. This is an older hotel that definitely needs a facelift. It is quite big and the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable, even though in my case, my room was smelling like cigarette smoke even though they are not supposed to. You can easily get lost in the hotel since there... more

I have stayed at all the Toronto Airport hotels, Sheraton Gateway, Hilton, Westin and Four Points. I will say that this one was very well worn. The carpets were old, the decor was old. If you can get past that, then this hotel could work. This recent trip, this was the most reasonable, so I book it. Dinner was pretty... more

Noisy Noisy Noisy. Plenty of choice of restaurants (3), nice lobby, nearby airport. Room I had was old but clean with a fresh layer of paint. For an airport hotel I would think sound insulation is primordial but somehow they totally forgot about this when building this hotel some 20 odd years ago. On the 11th floor you can hear... more

I was not impressed with this hotel at all. We picked this hotel because of the slides at the pool. Upon arrival at our room (Smoking) it smelled horriable and I am an avid smoker. We travel alot and did not expect this from this kind of hotel. Next was our trip to the pool. Were the max. capacity is... more

I'm a huge Doubletree fan, and this hotel didn't disappoint either. The hotel is a couple miles away from the airport on a big highway. There is a free airport shuttle service provided about every half-hour. The parking is $10CAD per night for hotel guests; plenty of parking spaces available, and we never had problems finding space or getting in/out... more

Spent one night at the Doubletree Hotel in May 2008 and chose the hotel as am a Hilton's Honors member and needed a hotel close to the airport in order to catch an early international flight the following morning. Check in went smoothly with no errors and even though I arrived earlier (1:30pm) than check in, they had a room... more

Being a priceline junkie, I got this hotel for $48. It was ok. Comfy bed, free internet in the downtown business center. Near a little shopping/restaurant area so I walked over and ate at a 'Chili's' style restaurant to watch a hockey game and eat. There was a damp spot on the carpet but didn't notify the front desk. Airplane... more

We stayed at this hotel with our kids for a baseball trip to Toronto. I would say our stay was alright. It is CLOSE to the airport. One of the runways is behind the hotel and this makes for some noise as the planes go over the hotel especially when trying to fall asleep. The beds were the new comfortable... more

I am a big fan of Doubletree Hotels. I like their value to comfort level and the casual but classy nature of their properties. This particular Doubletree Hotel just does not live up to the same level of quality I have come to expect from the Doubletree name. I was only there for one night, and would have much preferred... more
