From the moment that you arrive and the doormen(plural) with communication devices to the front desk and the valet open the specially hand crafted door handles for you to gain entrance, your sophisticated senses will appreciate the slate floor, recessed floor lighting and the amazing artifacts displayed in cases about the foyer. The hospitality is nothing short of totally spectacular.... more

We stayed at the auberge June 13 to June 16, 2008 - and since we left I actually miss it!! The hotel itself is beautiful, artifacts and history all over, but unobtrusive - makes it cosy and interesting all at once. Ate at the cafe only, and the food was excellent - the drinks were imaginative and exotic. But what... more

My husband and I just spent 4 nights at the Auberge St-Antoine. It was quite an experience. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The ambience was wonderful. The gym was relaxing and clean with equipment in good condition. Our experience at the restaurant Panache was every bit as wonderful as promised in the advertisement; our compliments to Chef Blais and... more

Stayed at the Auberge St-Antoine for two nights and loved every minute of it. It is a glowing example of how historical settings can be both modernized and preserved. It is situated in a 17th/18th century building in the lower town of Quebec City (ie. on the harbour). The interior is ultra modern in a cosy way but throughout the... more

This hotel won on two counts - its location and its peace and quiet - except when the Queen Mary arrives in town. We had only a standard room but it was extremely spacious with two double beds and plenty of sitting and desk space. The bathroom however was very ordinary, cramped and rather shabby with just a shower over... more

From the moment we arrived at L'Auberge-Saint Antoine I knew we had made the right choice. Located on a lovely cobblestone street near the Saint Lawrence River, it felt "right" from the very beginning. We were met by a friendly valet who provided a very nice welcome, assisted with our luggage and parked our car. The entrance to the hotel... more

Having stayed in hotels all over the world, the Auberge St-Antoine is one of the nicest I have ever stayed. The salvaged artifacts, beautifly displayed, were incredible. Each display, a work of art. The restaurant was great and the cocktail area beautiful. From check-in to check-out...1st class all the way. Our terrace overlooked the Chateau Frontenac, the service was exceptional,... more

From the moment we pulled up in our rental car we were amazed! The service was exceptional and the room awesome. We were there for a convention and had a hard time leaving the room! We had an in room espresso machine that worked really well and an LCD tv and classical music that was playing in the evenings after... more

Its a dangerous thing to advertise that your hotel is one of the top 100 in the world, regardless of who says that is the case. The chances of its being so, given the number of hotels in the world and the places they can be make it pretty hard to live up to the expectation such a claim creates.... more

The Auberge Saint Antoine is a lovely hotel, very romantic and a lot of younger, trendy guests. The hotel is situated in the "basse ville" or "lower city" and it's a 10 minute hike up the hill to the famous walled city of Quebec. The restaurant, Panache, is nothing short of fantastic. One of the most amazing meals I've ever... more
