The rooms are brand new with a very creative and beautiful interior. The design of the rooms in one of the older buildings of the old city was just gorgeously creative. You are lliterally overlooking Artists' Alley one block from the Frontenac and one block from Norte Dame -- in the middle of everything. While there is much activity just... more

After a long day we where so happy to be greated by a smile and the bellboy for the luggages. Our room #2 in the new part (the museum section ) was over and behond our expectations... The decor came from the former wax museum, with gilt panels, paintings and crystal chandeliers, silk curtains, huge sony lcd tv, fireplace, little... more

When I booked this hotel (one recommended by The Lonely Planet), I was looking for location and I got it! This little hotel on a pedestrian walkway is across the square from the Frontenac Castle! And walking distance to all the attractions. There is a great little restaurant downstairs with outdoor seating. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our... more

This small hotel is a true gem, just across the place de armes from the Hotel Frontinac. We stayed for 5 days during the official 400th anniversary celebration and found this hotel, the service, the food and the overall ambience to be excellent. We stayed in one of the newer rooms in the recently restored building that attaches to the... more

I stayed here with 2 of my friends. We could find the hotel easily because of the can't beat location. the lady at reception was nice and polite, however, since she had to deal with both hotel and restaurant customers(on first floor) at same time, it took little long to get us checked in. When we got into the room,... more

A charming, clean inn, with a fantastic location in the heart of the Old City. The staff were all very friendly and happy to speak English to two American Anglophones. The continental breakfast was excellent and presented in a fine dining atmosphere. We did not try the restaurant for dinner, but it looked very good. more

We were fortunate that the weather in Quebec was fairly mild and were able to comfortably walk all around the city. It's a beautiful, old historic city with lots of shopping, sightseeing and entertainment plus excellent restaurants. The Auberge Place d' Armes is in the heart of the old city and is convenient to everything. The rooms are small as... more

What's great about this place is also what's annoying about it. The location, in some ways, couldn't be better: on a cobblestone pedestrian street, across the square from the Chateau Frontenac. There's a little craft market across the street, and the Terrace Dufferin boardwalk and the funicular to the lower city are just steps away. The downside: 1) to get... more

A perfect stay, from the enormous bathroom to the incredible wonderful concierges. We upgraded to a suite for very little more than the cost of a deluxe room and it was so worth it. We had a beautiful balcony where I would have coffee and read every morning and a bathroom the size of many hotel rooms with an enormous... more
