After one of the worst airline experiences of our lives (separate seats, late flight, lost luggage) followed by discovering several errors in our “package” (pre-paid ski rentals were paid for but weren’t in the rental agencies system) we found dealing with the Embassy Suite’s management nothing short of a pleasurable experience. The management and staff went out of their way... more

Nice rooms, very clean. Large spacious suites just like you expect from a Embassy Suites but management lets the kids run around at night playing night games in the atrium and the sound travels into the rooms like water running through a colander. We called security and it settled down but it should have never gotten that far. Be aware... more

We went to South Lake Tahoe one week ago. Beautiful weather! Beautiful place! We stayed at Embassy Suites, Floors 8 and 9, have been redone, and are immaculate! I asked about the lake view rooms, and there are only 4, and $$$, so upgrade was from standard king at 159.00, or 2 double beds at 199.00, we had booked the... more

My teen son and I stayed at Embassy Suites for a ski week in March 2007. It was exactly as advertised, clean, quiet, very well-appointed rooms with spotless bathroom and fresh linens. My son slept on the pullout in the living room, which also had a TV, kitchenette and dining table with 4 chairs. The bathroom opened off the main... more

We spent one night at the Embassy Suites Lake Tahoe prior to attending a conference at Incline Village. The hotel was very pleasant with an inviting lobby area. Our room had two luggage racks. Breakfast was great and the chef thoroughly cooked the omelets without being asked. As Hilton Gold members, we were given access to the bar/lounge with name... more

Despite the problems we had with Virgin our travel agents on this holiday - Lake Tahoe is fantastic. We flew to San Francisco and stayed a few nights before driving up to Tahoe. The drive is really easy and beautiful as you get nearer the snowy mountains. The Embassy Suites are massive, it looks all rustic and Swiss chalet on... more

We had an awful overnight stay here! We asked to check in early and were told that rooms were not ready and to return in an hour. We did and the room was still not ready. The staff at the front desk were condescending and rude. Once we got to our room we had problems with the room and no... more

Booked this through Hilton's website at the last minute for a one-night stay on easter weekend. As previous reviewers have emphasized, don't pay for the valet. Drop your baggage, keep on driving and park in the Harrah's lot. Check in was smooth. We had a fifth floor room facing towards Nevada. The view from the bedroom was actually pretty impressive,... more
