My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in early May 2007, after staying in San Fran and Yosemite. And we loved it. Our experience was made a whole lot better by the fact that we had picked one of the best rooms in the hotel (a deluxe suite with a balcony leading onto the beach) and... more

I was a bit worried after reading the reviews on here but was actually very happy with my stay. We used our timeshare for our stay and booked the 2 bedroom cabin. The Cabin was 2 stories and had 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Both bedrooms and bathrooms were large. It also had a living room with a sofa... more

Only stay here if you don't mind being lied to and ripped off. I was told by the reservations operator that I would receive a certain deal for my stay. I asked several times to confirm the total rate and was assured I was correct in my understanding. When I went to check out, I was charged $125 more than... more

We stayed at the Tahoe Beach and Ski Club in January and although the snow was great for sbowboarding at Heavenly, our stay at the club left a lot to be desired. I should have known things weren't going to go well right from the check-in. Our stay was supposed to be Friday to Friday, but I called and told... more

We visited this property early Jan. 2008. The weather was horrible and we arrived around 11 PM to check in. The front desk agent was rude and did not even ask if we needed help to our room. It was snowing outside and our room was in a building away from the front desk. The rooms were nice, it was... more

We traded our Mariott time share for this "resort". This place looks like a hotel room. We did have the effency room, which was clean and stocked as you would expect. The problem was there is no air-conditioning and no windows. They put us on the street side which is Hwy 50. You had to sleep with the sliding glass... more

Our first impression of this place was a very accurate foreshadowing of our stay to come. As soon as we arrived, the people at the check-in desk were extremely rude, and it took them about 30 minutes to check us in. We got to the rooms and they were decent (pretty spacious, the basic amenities). Sure this resort offers plenty... more

We booked this unit based on the photos supplied by the hotel of the 2 bedroom units. However the one bedroom "suite" we got was simply a converted motel room. The kitchen is totally inadequate and shouldn't even be advertised as such. The rug, furnishings and fixtures are worn and threadbare and the tv is too small for viewing unless... more

We have a time share that we have traded for the last 5 years and go to Tahoe the second week in September (which is such a great time because of weather and less c rowds). We have stayed the last 2 years at the beautiful resort of the Embassay Vacation Resort which is almost 1/2 block from the Tahoe... more

Nice, lakefront condos. Most are converted hotel rooms. The two bedroom condos do NOT have a full kitchen and the refrigerators are NOT full size. They are RV size. There is no room for groceries. We had to use the closet for our food. Very disappointing. The pool is very small for such a large resort and had very little... more
