Stayed for 4 nights during Spring Break with my husband and two children(8 and 4). We thought the place was great considering the prices of the other hotels that claim they are resorts...there is no resort in South Lake Tahoe ..not even the Marriott Timber Lodge. Expectations and consideration of value are important when rating a hotel. This hotel met expectations with flying colors. It was inexpensive and clean at less then $70 discounted rate during the "slow season." The rooms are normal, the beds are ok but on the firmer side, and our room contained a small fridge.
