OK so obviously don't stay here is you are expecting it to be like Harrahs. Actually, don't stay anywhere for an "Average $69.00 per night" if you expect luxury...You're an idiot! This place is GREAT for young people who are looking to have fun in tahoe without paying a bunch of money for a hotel! It's a pretty basic place,... more

The pictures and the reviews do not give a good example of what this hotel is really like. It is shabby, the sheets did not fit the beds, the heater did not work (this was very important as it was winter and snowing), the continental breakfast was non-existent, and the price was outrageous for what was delivered! Especially when the... more

Ok, the last place I stayed in Tahoe was overrated and this place is underrated. I think it's hit or miss in Tahoe but this place was fine--it was clean, looked like it had been recently remodeled, super close to casinos and a tasty mexican "cafe" on the corner, and had a mini fridge and microwave. The real seller was... more

What can I say about this place? It's like the owner doesn't actually want you to stay there. We only needed a place to sleep so we weren't looking for luxury, and we knew it wouldn't be the Hilton, but there is a limit as to how far you can insult human intelligence. 1. The toilet roll holder was held... more

We had reserved a nonsmoking room, we got a room that had a real strong tobacco smoke smell. We requested a differnt room and were denied the option to change rooms. The personnel were arrogrant and incompent. The room condition was the worst that I have ever experienced. The rate was excessive for the service rendered. more

I've stayed in a lot of hotels. I travel as a regular part of my job. But this is hands-down the WORST hotel I've ever stayed in. FAR AND AWAY. Had it not been for the fact that someone else was paying for my room (family wedding) I would have immediately checked out and found somewhere else. Perhaps even slept... more

After seeing the web site this looked like a nice place. Don't believe what you see! The rooms were so dirty it took less that five minutes to return to the lobby for a different room. This room wasn't much better and I did ask the maid, who was close by, to come in and clean the floor. The room... more

This place had the AAA aproval which usually is right on, but this hotel had to be one of the worst I've ever stayed at. Apart from peeling plaster, apathetic staff (the overweight desk clerk could not be bothered to get us a clock for the room, though all the other rooms had them) and the mildewy smell, we were... more

Was there for a wedding weekend. Stayed at the Blue Jay Lodge because of a recommendation from Fairfield Resorts. Avoid this place like the plague, Hot water did not work, the room smelled; and for a topper, the night manager refused to refund our money when we chose to leave after a few hours stay. The night shift manager was... more

I stayed here on Cinco De Mayo weekend and originally booked a King room just for myself for $49 a night, then my friend decided to go and I called and changed it to 2 queens($59) with no problems....Room was just remodeled...New bathroom, new windows and doors, paint etc. ....Extremely CLEAN!!!....Very hot water!...Small refrigerator and microwave...First night was quiet, second... more
