Went on a ski trip to Golden and stayed at the sportsman lodge. When we arrived there one of the rooms had dirty underwear in the drawers. We were treated pretty bad. The Sportmans in Golden is a great place to stay for the night, the room we got was spacious with a fridge, coffee maker, hairdyer, TV, it was very clean & the staff were excellent especially the lady that worked the evening shift. It was an interesting experience to say the least. We shared kitchenette facilities with the people next to us which gave them access to our room since the lock didn't work, but really that didn't matter because the door to our hotel room didn't lock or close! What a great place to stay. They have rooms with mini-fridges, coffee machines, toasters and microwaves. The kids loved the pool with waterslide and I of course loved the hot tub and the sauna. Very reasonable rate. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was very knowldgeable about the activities Golden had to offer. more
