We stayed for a weekend break with family and all had a good time. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast very busy but the food was tasty and well cooked. We had one meal in the bar and one in the Chinese restaurant - both good. Downsides. We were overcharged by £80 - good job we spotted it. But corrected quickly... more

The Holiday Inn Bristol - Filton is situated some 3 to 4 miles from the city centre, just off J1 of the M32 and about 1 mile from J19 of the M4. Set in acres of park and woodland the hotel strikes just the right balance of peace and tranquility with convenience in terms of commuting to city centre. The... more

2-3 weeks before we planned to stay in Bristol, we realised it would not be a cheap night - everywhere seemed very expensive! Since we are Holiday Inn Priority Club members we decided it would probably be best to to book a hotel from this group to earn points for our stay. We were convinced by central reservations to book... more

Stayed here recently for the Heineken Cup weekend in Cardiff. Found the hotel to be fine for what we needed. The rooms were a bit small, considering they were sold as a 3 man room, and it should only be a twin room. The breakfast was great. The only thing about this hotel is its location. There is nothing around... more

We arrived at the hotel around 8.30pm, and were glad to see there was no queue at reception!! We weren’t greeted in anyway by the receptionist, just asked the surname and to "sign in". We were then just handed our key and told go around the corner for the lift and to go up 2 floors. That was that -... more

my heart sank when I entered the lobby to see about 100 people milling around reception. It was difficult to work out how to check in ! Eventually, having checked-in, I fancied a swim in the hotel pool.Unfortunately, it was so busy, there was a queue to use it.That evening, I couldn't eat at the hotel restaurant as it was fully... more

I’ve spent a truly embarrassing amount of time at this hotel over the past 3 months on business (40 or so nights). It’s definitely aimed at the business traveller. I certainly wouldn’t fork out the £120 or so per night if I had to pay myself. The rooms on the ground floor of the main wing (rooms 1##) were pretty... more

We have just had a very pleasant stay here as a family of four. The hotel is positioned out near the M4 but takes only about 20mins to drive into town on the M32 if traffic is not too heavy. We had an executive room which was luxurious if a bit tight for space with the sofabed pulled out. The... more

I booked on-line the morning of my arrival and the rate I got was £59 B&B this is the leisure saver rate. Upon arrival I was booked in swiftly and asked which paper I wanted in the morning. They had upgraded my booking to an executive room which is always very nice. The walk to the room passes a pond... more
