The owners don't seem to care about their clients; indeed if they complain they are treated like naughty schoolchildren. They originally hark from a B&B background and are so mean that they don't even turn the heating on in sub-zero winter. This property leaves you with a terrible feeling. For God's sake: stay away. more

We stayed here the last week of June 2005. The house itself is wonderful, like a private residence, very Victorian, with a conservatory, a nice garden, old-fashioned sinks, showcases with antiques, paintings, etc. But all the staff is non-English and it is very impersonal.
