My elderly mother and I have just stayed at this hotel. I had read some of the reviews on here and didn't quite know what to expect. I have to say that we were very pleasantly surprised. Ok so the hotel is a little out of the centre of Torquay, but that means there is not too much noise to... more

NOT a Hotel for the disabled or elderly as there is no lift or stair lift and there are only 9 rooms on ground flooor. It means climbing a minimum of 16 stairs to reach floor one and of course even more for those rooms above. Also the dinning room is below the ground floor and necesitated negotiating a further... more

Water from the hot tap was a mere trickle, and took ages to give any semblence of warmth. The room and bathroom doors both jammed. The... more

We booked a twin room, first room number 56 room seemed very nice, but water splashing down through the ceiling of en suite, complained and moved to room number 30, this was a family room, and very close to the air vent of the kitchen, thought we would stay in that room as it was quite large, the next morning... more
