Stayed here with my son for 4 nights recently. No major complaints, the room was spacious and clean and we had a sea view (which we weren't expecting so that was a bonus). However, we had upgraded to an "executive" room and to be honest, it didn't strike me as very executive. I would say it was very ordinary with... more

Thank you for your feedback. All the Executive Rooms come with Larger Beds, Laptop Safes, Stocked Mini Bars (Chargeable), 1 hour free wi-fi, Complimentary Mineral Water, Orange and chocolate bar, Bathrobes, Slippers, 2 bedroom phones (one with speaker phone), Upgraded Toiletries and Power Showers. It is disappointing to read your comments regarding the maintenance of the room and I will...

Trip advisor said average rates were £115 - I paid £165 per room per night b&b booking in March- it was a business room so big and had a balcony overlooking the sea (too windy to use!) and this was probably a v expensive wekend anywhere. Spec rates are £300 per room.... Room spaceous, breakast well done. But you don't... more

Thank you for taking the time to write your comments. The average rates are based on our standard bedrooms and you opted for a Seaview Room which will incur a nightly supplement of £50 per night. Our rates at the hotel are variable according to demand. It is always better to pre-pay your rates for the best deals and in...

This is the second time that my husband and I have stayed at this hotel and I have to say on this experience I don't think we'll be going back. We last stayed here 2 years ago and the bathrooms had just been refurbished, the rooms were in good decorative order, there was no air conditioning but we were provided with... more

I was saddened to read you comments regarding your stay and the cleanliness of the rooms you have encountered. These will be dealt with immediately. All our standard bedrooms are of identical size and larger than the more traditional hotels you find in Brighton. Seaview rooms are larger but incur a nightly supplement. I am not sure of the service...

Excellent hotel with a great location. Stayed for three nights.Hotel bar/restaurant are expensive-there are plenty of more inexpensive places nearby. Parking is £15 per night-a car is a handicap in Brighton-public transport is excellent and taxis are plentiful. Ice is on request from the bar-missed the ice machines in other Holiday Inns. Weekends are more expensive than during the week.... more

Thank you for your comments. We price our menus competitively within Brighton but we know there are cheaper alternatives available. However we pride ourselves in quality and the aim to give value for money to all guests. As a standard is must be made available to guests free of charge and this can be ordered through room service aswell. Unfortunately...

We just came back from our short break in Brighton and we had a nice and relaxing time all around, so thought I would write my first hotel review to share our experiences, especially after reading some of the previous reviews before deciding to stay at the Holiday Inn. The hotel reception is lovely and you can clearly see that... more

Thank you for sharing your 1st hotel review. Customers is why we are here and all the team here have a job so it is paramount to us to listen to feedback and where possible put new procedures in place to ensure that all guests are satisfied. All our rooms are of a good size and the two single rooms...

I stayed in the holiday inn for one night on business. The location was great - right on the seafront. The hotel could do with a bit of a face lift. The rooms were comfortable enough, but the decor is very dated and the non-smoking rooms smelt of smoke. There was a lot of noise from the street outside and... more

Thank you for your comments We have undergone a £3.5m refurbishment of the interior of the hotel including all bedrooms and am assuming you mean the exterior when you state your feedback. Plans are currently underway to upgrade the exterior which will change the exterior but due to planning restrictions and associated private residents this is not imminent. If you...

I stay in lots of hotels in Brighton and has always given this hotel a miss in previous years from when it was under another owner. Last week I was forced to stay in the hotel as I couldnt get a room at any of the other 4 hotels I stay at. Not sure if I should mention it but... more

Thank you for your very kind comments. Under previous ownership we received very little investment into the hotel unless it was of a Health and Safety nature. This is a reputation we have tried to fight off over the last 3 years. It is with positive feedback like yours that we can show to all that we are much better...

I stayed at this hotel with my sister for the May Bank holiday weekend and did not enjoy my stay one bit. The hotel needs a good clean-up. Public toilets are better than those in the lobby area. The rooms are nothing to talk about. The balcony was full of bees/wasps and ants and the balcony furniture (a table and... more

I was saddened to read your comments about the hotel and espescially the team. We have worked hard at the hotel over the last year and your experience is uncommon. I am not sure what you mean by bees and wasps on the balcony but if you contact me directly at the hotel so I can investigate directly as you...

I was in Brighton for a Conference which was being held at the Holiday Inn Brighton. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels throughout the UK and I never had such brilliant service given with such a smile from every member of staff I came into contact with. I couldn't quite believe I was in the UK let alone staying... more

This is a smart Holiday Inn right on the seafront in Brighton. Look out the door of the hotel and there's the sea! It is about a 20 minute walk from the main pier, and close to shopping and a street full of restaurants. This was my 5th visit to the hotel. Parking is difficult in Brighton, with only residents'... more

Thank you for your response and is how I like every guest to see this hotel. We always prioritise Priority Club Platinum Members to receive a complimentary upgrade to the best room available. If this is not possible we in Brighton give a Pamper Hamper which includes complimentary wine, Bathrobes for use and upgraded toiletries. As a recognition for all...
