Found this little gem on the internet and was not disappointed. It was for a very special occasion - my parents diamond wedding celebration. Family came from all over the country and all received a warm welcome. Our rooms were clean, comfortable and consideration had been taken in their allocation - ground floor twins for the elderly and disabled. Nothing... more

We stayed here for 2 nights on our return from Cornwall and thought it was wonderful. My husband and I had room 15 in the main house and my duaghter, her husband and children had room 10. The room was lovely very spacious with a king size bed [at least, it was huge] and a sitting area. The whole place... more

Lovely hotel right in the centre of the town. Literally steps from the town centre but a street back so nice and quiet. We stayed in one of the rooms in the annexe. It was fairly basic but clean with lots of towels and bedding provided. The bed itself was pretty small (not even sure if it was a standard... more

Bang in the middle of Bourton on the Water. People friendly, breakfast good, very modern bar - all in all, a relaxing place to stay in a wonderful village. more

Just got back from a short break in the Cotswolds where we stayed at the Chester Hotel. The staff there were very welcoming and we were well looked after. The room was very spacious and the breakfast was good too. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and we cannot complain about the service that we received. Will definitely... more

We stayed at Chester House for 1 night whilst exploring the Cotswolds and would highly recommend it to anyone. Throughout our stay, the friendly, warm, efficient and professional service from all staff was outstanding. The overall atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable. Our room was large, comfortable and sunny - maybe the bathroom was a bit outdated (leaky shower), but... more

As with the other people who have put a review on here we stayed at the Chester House Hotel due to being relocated from The Manse Hotel who had boiler problems and therefore no hot water or heating. As soon as we arrived at the Chester we were given a warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed... more

We spent 2 Nights over Easter at Chester House and find it hard to find fault. The welcome was warm and this reflected the general attitude during our stay. The Room was extremely well presented with Canvas Prints adding to general feel of it being home from home. My only slight criticisms were that the Floorboards are very creaky in... more

We were evacuated here from the Old Manse Hotel down the road after problems with their heating and hot water. Not a lot of time to form a view but we liked the warm welcome, fairly modern, spacious decor, a decent breakfast and easy parking. Good location near to the waterside main street. more

Stayed here with my 7 year old son for one night. The hotel is very well situated with easy access to the village and a convenient free car park. We received a friendly welcome and our room (7) was very spacious, furnished well , clean and comfortable. My son was really pleased to find Chester the duck in the bathroom... more
