We had not booked and were looking for a nice cosy Country Pub with a real fire without spending the earth. This is exactly what we found. This is not a 5 star hotel, nor does it pretend to be. It is a lovely old English Coaching Inn. We only had to pay £65 and found it to be good... more

Read the reviews and decided to try the hotel. Got a good deal and were very pleased with what we found. The room was comfortable, very clean and well equipped. We have paid far more for far less. The bar was friendly and inviting with a good range of local beers. We ate in the conservatory, which was warm and... more

We stayed at this hotel after christmas. We slept in one of the rooms in the back of the hotel on the ground floor. We could not sleep because of people walking on the ceiling above up until midnight. Really noisy!!! We did asked to be moved to an upstairs room the next day, and the staff were helpful to... more

Stayed here last weekend just for a single night in one of the Executive Double bedrooms. Room itself, very good, clean, modern and well decorated. The bar area very welcoming, nice log fire, good beer, newspapers - just as a Cotswold inn should be. Evening meal, fine albeit that service fairly un-sophicated. Then the rub, the nights sleep. Appalling due... more

We are genuinely sorry to hear of the bad nights sleep encountered by Mr Deddington on 1st December. We take his comments on board, however all the beds have been replaced in 2007 with Sealy mattresses which were used for their good quality and worldwide reputation. Once again we are sorry if the mattress was too hard for their personal...

We were staying in Moreton for a wedding and had a really enjoyable stay. We were in an 'executive room' which was clean, new and well-appointed. The breakfast was excellent, as was the pub lunch. I would recommend this as a great base to explore the Cotswolds, or just to wander around the pretty town on Moreton. more

Excellent hotel, stayed in one of the new suites. The standard of accomodation was very good and clean. The staff were all very helpful and very always on hand if required. The food for both breakfast and in the restuarnat was very good. more

We selected the Redesdale as it is ranked Number 1 on Trip Advisor in Moreton-in Marsh & the recommendation is well deserved. The executive court yard rooms are modern, really spacious and well equipped, and very quiet. All bars & restauants, apart from one bar are non-smoking. Staff are friendly, hard working & very helpful. Whilst we didn't eat an... more

I never book a hotel without checking reviews here on Trip Adviser and had begun to consider these reviews as a form of guarantee. Well I had my confidence severely jolted by a recent weekend stay at Redesdale Arms. I paid "book" price of £95 per night for a room in the new annex. Other rooms were £85.00. It was... more

I booked the Redesdale Arms as a surprise for my Husband's birthday, based on the reviews on trip advisor and we were not disappointed. Our room, one of the new exectutive rooms, with a 4 poster bed, was lovely and apart from not being able to get the Jacuzzi to work, we had no complaints. The food in the restaurant... more

Booked this hotel for a valentines break and what more can I say than it was brilliant. The hotel is based around an old inn premises and whilst the the executive room we stayed in was to the rear of the premises and allowed coming and going without even entering the pub premises how could you resist drinking alcohol in... more
