This is the worst hotel (actually I should say "tatty B&B") I have ever stayed at. The staff are incompetent and I wholeheartedly agree with all the previous comments about the manager - he is extremely rude and an outright liar!! more

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! After a well below average stay at the beaufort we went home only to discover we were charged for two bookings instead of one!!!! We are having to go to court over this as the hotel are refusing to accept their mistake and refund this money. Save yourself the agro and legal bills and go elsewhere!!! more

This is a pretty, vintage hotel in South Sea next to Portsmouth in the UK. The hotel was booked by a colleague who was working in Portsmouth. I went to drop him off at the hotel which looks good from the outside but when we arrived there was a notice on the door saying the manager had popped out and to phone which we duly did and got an ansaphone.
