My partner and I arrived without a reservation in the early evening and were delighted to be offered an executive suite with balcony, seaview and four-poster for half price from the professional and attentive reception staff. The main selling point of this hotel is the seaviews. They are some of the most stunning and truly panoramic that I have ever... more

We stayed here for 2 nights over the late May bank holiday. Reception staff were very friendly and did their job perfectly. The room was comfortable, but I do agree that the air conditioning unit had a mind of it's own, and would turn on and off randomly, with varying degrees of loudness. Our room was on one side of... more

The room was dark and oppressive...it was clean overall, but not spotless (dried water stains on toilet seat). The breakfast was poor. The interior of the hotel is so old, you can see wallpaper coming from the walls everywhere. The air conditioning in the room is so loud during the night....overall: Wouldn't recommend it at all. more

After looking at the previous reviews, was a bit concerned hotel rooms would be awful.. No need to worry. Saw standard room which was at the back of the hotel overlooking car park, and decided to opt for sea view room. Much larger room with balcony and seating area. Nice high ceiling and nice and warm. Bathroom nice and clean.... more

Stayed at the 'Comfort Inn' (hmm) as part of a business trip - and I really can't find much to say that is positive. The decor hasn't been changed since circa 1982 and I don't think much maintenance has been done since then either. My room was small and dingy and had a very dominating & hideous four poster bed,... more

A typical tatty overpriced British hotel. Very noisey at night, doors slamming and loads of hallway chatting. Had a ok meal, friendly waiter, can't say much else good or bad. more

One of the worst hotels I have stayed in. After waiting ten minutes at an empty reception desk to be attended to I thought that things could only get better, but how wrong I was: * bedroom was extremely poor (samll, shabby, uncomfortably hot, poor bathroom, windows were filthy and couldn't be opened, bed was old, creeky and most uncomfortable).... more

This was our second visit and it was clear some minor improvements had been made - the foyer area, for example, looked less cluttered, brighter and cleaner. We paid extra for a "honeymoon suite" - a much bigger room with balcony - and were v pleased we did. We loved it, so nice to sit on when the sun was... more

This hotel advertises itself as a 3 star hotel. Actually, it's a working class 1 star dive. The place is in terrible shape. The windows are absolutely FILTHY. Parts of the Hotel are being fixed, but it's not going to be enough unless they gut the place and start over. It's shabby at best. The hotel gets hot and no... more
