Yewfield is quite a bit away from the main activity of Ambleside and Hawkshead, but that is why it is such a wonderful place to stay. Plus it is much better value for money than the central hotels if you don't need to be central. The rooms are immaculate, with organic and natural products wherever possible. Views are stunning.
