We booked a 2 night stay at this B&B in Windermere. It was found to be dirty - we shared out bathroom with a family of spiders that lived around the extractor fan in the bathroom. We enjoyed our stay at Rosemount. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the premises were very clean and tidy. The location is nice and central between Windermere Village and Bowness Village. Overall good value for money. more

Rosemount is an excellent B & B located between Bowness and Windermere not far from the lake. I found the room bright, clean and comfortable and the owners very friendly and likeable. Best of all was an excellent English breakfast with local free-range ingredients - far better than you get in far more expensive hotels. It's great value as well... more

Contrary to previous post, we can only say how much we enjoyed our stay at the 'Rosemount'. The room was clean and spacious with a four poster bed,very clean modern bathroom with huge bath, jovial and caring host who served up a super breakfast each morning. Loved those sausages! more

We had a lovely time in Windermere and our hotel stay complimented it, we had a cozy comfortable decent sized room with plenty of storage space, it was clean and nicely decorated, the on-suite also had plenty of room with a large hot shower.
