We booked into the Hilton despite its terrible architecture as we assumed as it was a Hilton we would be getting what we paid for. Staff were all smiling and helpful, and the breakfast is very good and much better than any other breakfast available in Blackpool. the staff at breakfast were efficient and very courteous, so our morning was... more

I have stayed at this Hilton twice. The first time I was in a reasonable room, the second time the room was very small, hardly any room to walk around the twin beds. I was very disappointed as it was for a friends birthday suprise as we were going to see a show, and quite frankly I've stayed in more... more

My husband and i stayed here for two nights late July, with our two young children. On arrival we asked if there was any chance of an upgrade and were told that at a cost of £25 extra per night, we could upgrade to a club room. This meant we got a king sized bed and a sea view. The... more

I stayed at the Hilton in Blackpool for one night because I was attending a conference in the hotel the following day. The hotel has a hideous exterior, I agree that the architect who designed it should never work again! The rooms are clean, fucntional & suitable for a one night stay. My major gripe with the place is the... more

I stayed in July 2008 paying £78 b&b (conference delegate rate). Overall better than I expected, much of the interior has been re-furbished and feels almost plush in places. Positives: - Upper floor rooms have good view over the sea - Good breakfast - Generally well-staffed - Reasonable value for money - Comfortable feel Negatives - A brutally ugly building... more

I have just returned from a weekend at the Blackpool Hilton. It has to be one of the ugliest hotels in Blackpool (and that is saying something!) and the architect should never work again. It's a dreadfully ugly building with all the attraction of a public toilet BUT having said all that, it had a very large car park and... more

Stayed one night last week as a stopover travelling south on holiday. The hotel was nice enough but not as central as I expected. The staff on reception were friendy, and the evening meal was superb. The room was very spacious and clean, however it was rather tatty, especially the bathroom. There was hairs in the sink when we arrived... more

As usual in Blackpool it was friendly but incompetent. The hotel is undergoing a refurb. we had a pre rather than post reburbished room, which was shabby and grubby. There was a mix up on checking in, no breakfast, included, which would have added an outrageous £29 per day for 2. There was a real flap on in the dining... more

Booked with Tesco Clubcard. Two nights B&B. Total cost for a family of 4 in one room was 280 pounds. The great thing was the children stayed free. Our room was on the 2nd Floor and was a really good size. The bed was massive, three of us could have slept in it! Their was also a sofa made up... more
