From the moment we arrived at the Ramsey (myself, my wife, my daughter, my mother and my mother-in-law) we were made to feel relaxed and welcome. We arrived early but were still able to check-in and were offered a choice of tea and coffee (and lovely homemade biscuits), which was a nice touch after a fairly long journey. The rooms... more

Me and my new husband (Aged 24 & 26) stayed at the Ramsay Hotel for a short break last weekend (25th to 27th) while we visited Blackpool to watch Chubby Brown (as we do annually). Arrival: When we arrived, Julie was very accomodating and pleasant - she even made us a pot of tea after our drive. We were directed... more

From the moment you arrive you are made to feel welcome. A pot of tea was waiting for us before we had even unloaded our bags from the car. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and the sea view room was superb. Breakfast is served between 9 and 9.30 and is very good, with unlimited toast and top ups of... more

Had read the reviews prior to my stay at the Ramsay and the hotel completely lived up to expectations. Clean and tidy rooms (very comfy beds) and everything you require for a quick get away. The management were extremely competent in recommending places to eat/drink/party in the centre and I must say the full english breakfast (served at an idea... more

The Ramsay Hotel is a great place to stay for your visit to Blackpool, rooms at the front have great sea views. Julie, Colin, Vicky & Gary make you very welcome and nothing is too much trouble for them (keeping the bar open until the last person goes to bed and up in the morning to serve breakfast!). Hotel is... more

Stayed overnight for the second time and will be coming again for all future trips to Blackpool. The Ramsay is on the North Shore approximately a £5 taxi ride from Blackpool Tower. The hotel overlooks the sea front and is very clean and recently refurbished, the rooms are large for a small hotel with a good size en suite which... more

I have stayed at several hotels in Blackpool and each time I have had awful experience and I did not want to return to the town.....but no more. This a gem of a hotel, the staff are wonderful, attentive and helpful. The rooms are modern, clean and everything works! We arrived early but it was no problem, rooms were ready... more

Blackpool may not appeal to everyones taste, but this little hotel will have a very positive effect on any trip to Blackpool. We stayed over a busy May Day Bank Holiday for a conference, and after a stressful journey we were delighted with the welcome we received. Our room and ensuite were clean and well presented and our breakfasts, served... more

Stayed here in October with colleagues when I was at a conference in Blackpool. I booked because of the excellent reviews on Tripadvisor and was not disappointed. The owners are relatively recent arrivals in the town and are committed to providing a better standard than most of the hotels around them. The decor of the rooms is perfectly acceptable, Rooms... more

We stayed here for the first night of the Illuminations, and although it is right on the sea front and the tram stop, it was a long way in! That night there were so many people leaving to get back late at night that there were no empty seats on the trams and the traffic going nowhere - so we... more
