Although this hotel was refurbished in 2004 room 26 had damp on the outside wall the wardrobe and toilet seat were both broken and the hotel is next to an all night club and is extremely noisy. However the rooms are clean and the staff friendly. more

This hotel mught be cheap but you get what you pay for. If you do decide to stay then don't plan on getting any sleep. The hotel is close to a lot of bars and night clubs and the noise really kicks off at midnight. By 4a.m it reaches it's peak and you can sing along with the songs being... more

we went up to liverpool for the weekend, the hotel is situated right in the middle of the city centre, 5 minutes from train station, for where this hotel is the price is great, we didnt get any noise from passing traffic cos the street was blocked the one end due to roadworks- but we never heard any work going... more

Be warned this can be a very noisy hotel. The hotel is situated between night clubs and rooms at the front suffer from excessive noise from the clubs opposite (music so loud you can hear the words of the songs from inside your hotel room) which goes on till 3 or 4 in the morning, followed by noise from people... more

The room was tiny, pricey, smokey and the band may as well have been playing in my room, it was so loud. I've stayed in "loud" places before, but usually I'm warned that it'll be loud and when the band is expected to stop. The hotel was centrally located and the shower was warm and had good pressure. If I... more

I arrived at the hotel on 15th October 15th from Hungary, with a colleague of mine. We wanted to stay for 5 days, as we had some work to do in the Jaguar factory. Upon our arrival we noted that by mistake we had one double room booked for me and my colleague. Therefore I asked for another rom till... more

Don't bother staying here, it is a total dump and the staff are the most unprofessional you are ever likely to meet. The reception staff make sexual comments about sharing a double bed to my friend and I and just was a disaster from start to finish. Liverpool is such a great City with so much to offer and loads... more

This hotel is smack bang in the city centre of Liverpool, close to the shops and Lime St station and a short walk to the Cavern quarter and the Albert Dock. I was worried about the talk of noise - and it is on a busy road with the window opening out onto the street, but it wasn't as noisy... more

The Hanover Hotel is a very basic hotel. The rooms were supposed to have been redecorated but didn't look like that when we stayed there. It was like walking into a freezer when we entered the room. The bedroom and bathroom were freezing cold as the heating only works when your card is entered into a box on the wall.... more
