Visited the Liverpool area coming from Washington D.C. and stayed for four days and three nights at this very nice hotel. It is a very beautiful, old hotel accross from an ancient church that looks down into a subtle valley populated by surburban houses and green space. The area is suburban and not country. We have just spent a wonderful (but muddy) weekend at the Knowsley Hall Music Festival and stayed at Childwall Abbey hotel in Childwall Liverpool for one night.
