Arrived at the Fitzroy and welcomed by a young lady who was very pleasant and polite initial impressions were that it was small but very cheap price so couldn't complain. However when it came to bedtime both me and my friend were scratching and itching i tried to ignore it and get to sleep but then i saw a bed... more

As soon as I got to the hotel from Israel, a 20 year old girl first time abroad by her self, A nice I believe russian or romanian young girl had opend the door and giggled with embarrassment as I introduced myself. As I asked what's wrong (thought maybe my name was amusing to her) she said she had just... more

Lots of complains about this hotel, not sure all of them are deserved. In other cities the same price would get you much better, but for a place in central London, three short blocks from the tube, I got exactly what I expected for the price. The hotel is a bit of a mess, but the location is good, the... more

I arrived at Euston in to relive my past stay in London and stumbled upon this old area with this great old fashioned beb and breakfast barely noticeable you could say hidden. I traveled to the UK in the seventies and this place and area has not changed a bit, sadly the rest of London seems to have lost most... more

I’m a man of the world and have lived in some very rough accommodation in various countries before, yet I can wholeheartedly say that the Kensington Hotel is the worst accommodation I have seen. The ‘Hotel’ is a 15 bedroom B&B: holes in the walls; no working facilities; and electrical cables hanging from some of the doorways. There is one... more

My wife and I stayed at the Fitzroy for one night. Happy at first given a ground floor room, on opening the door the mood soon changed. I could have been happy with the box room we were given, but was shocked that the room was filthy. Carpet was dirty, shower was dirty and the water cold, we did not... more
