We chose this hotel because of its proximity to Heathrow (we had an overnight layover in London on the way home from Venice, and had a flight home to New York JFK the next day). When we landed at Heathrow, the hotel shuttle was not available but they told us to take the 423 bus, which was easy enough. We... more

I stayed in this hotel as I was doing a theme park weekend. I went to Thorpe park on the saturday stayed in this hotel for the night then went to chessington the next day. I initially bokked this hotel for it's convienience as it was so close to both of the attractions, and also because of how cheap it... more

Not a very good hotel. The receptionist was very indifferent and it seemed we were stopping her from doing something else when we wanted to check in. We booked a triple room as we were travelling with our 17 year old son. The room was extremely basic with three 2 foot 6inch beds - my sons feet hung off the... more

Where do I begin? The worst hotel I have ever spent a night in. Absolute crap, pick up service abysmal, room not even in the hotel (across the street - my bed strategically placed in a fireplace), just abysmal. What must people think when they come from overseas and stay here? An embarassment to the UK. Should come with a... more

My friend and I stayed one night at Heathrow Lodge due to an early morning flight the next day. The shuttle to/from airport was a selling point for me. I requested a reservation via email and received no response. That should have been a warning. I then made a reservation over the phone. Our last evening in London my friend... more

We had a mid day flight, no vehicle, so location and free shuttle to Heathrow were the reasons we chose this. Yes, the rooms are minute, but appealed to our sense of humor; it could only get better. Previous reviews had me checking the linen; it was fine; dated but clean. Window opened so we had fresh air, ensuite pod... more

DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER, The hotel looked fine from the outside, what a shock we got when we entered the reception. The whole place was dirty, in a very bad state of repair, curtains where dreadful, thick dirty coffee mugs on a tray that was very badly stained. Very noisy water pipes, loud chatter from the staff... more

I think the phrase "Caveat Emptor" applies here. I booked a double with en-suit over the phone with the online prices in front of me. On line it was £40, over the phone £55. Parking was £5 a night with the first night free. Transfers within normal hours were free. So for us a double room en suit with 4... more

My Husband and I stayed here the night before our flight to Vienna. The room was acceptable and had a shower room. Tea and coffee making facilities. Yes, it was noisy from the airplanes, but what do you expect when you are in a Heathrow Hotel?? The best thing about the place was the Breakfast..We really enjoyed it and the... more
