Good clean hotel-typical of the chain with rooms being more than adequate for a short stay. There is a large Holiday Inn on the same site (costing probaby three times as much). Clean, convenient, plenty of parking, wicked shower, very comfortable bed, the t.v worked, quiet location and new towels each day if required. Best of all a couple of minutes walk to the park and ride which took just 12 minutes to the city centre and last bus back was 11.30 so we had time to soak up the evening atmosphere.... more

The hotel, located in a car park, is a bedroom factory with very basic room amenities (no shampoo, no satellite TV etc) and on-site catering amounts to a couple of vending machines. The Travelodge in Oxford offers no amenities. I didin't even get a hand towel! No telephone in room, no shampoo, internet was offline, room was completely spartan...
