We have stayed here twice recently paying £29.00 and £59.00. Given that hotels that are really mediocre in Oxford can charge anywhere between £100 and £180.00 ( not including the Randolph or The Parsonage..............£250 ++) this represents really good value. £29.00 for a room that sleeps 3, and in our case had perfectly clean linen, comfy bed AND comfy pillows,... more

Stayed here for one night in February half term, so given the timing we were pleased to be able to get the room for only £19 - good considering its proximity to Oxford centre, the park and ride, and to the main A34. The room itself was a good size, nice and light and airy yet comfortably warm on a... more

Having stayed at this travelodge twice now whilst visiting family in Oxford - we have found it to be excellent value for money. (£29 weekdays and £59 Saturdays). The rooms on each occasion have been clean and comfortable and extra towels and tea/coffee provided with no trouble. The car park has been good and the park and ride facility is... more

We stayed at the Peartree travel lodge for 1 night only and we thought it was very good. The room whilst basic was very clean and adequate for a short stay. The shower in the bathroom was really nice and powerful. Although this hotel is located in a very busy road we found it to be very quiet and not... more

Had a very unpleasant night's stay here (August 2007). Inconvenient to get into Oxford, very musty room in poor decorative order. Much worse than other travel lodges I've stayed in -- avoid at all costs! more

Good clean hotel-typical of the chain with rooms being more than adequate for a short stay. There is a large Holiday Inn on the same site (costing probaby three times as much). The Little Chef across the car park offered 20% meals for hotel residents & offered reasonable meals. There were also a number of vending machines at reception. There... more

We paid only £26 for the night for this hotel. If we could have taken this hotel with us throughout Great Britain, we would have stayed here every night for that price. I don't like to spend a lot of money on hotel rooms on vacation because you spend so little time in the room. I just need a place... more

Clean, convenient, plenty of parking, wicked shower, very comfortable bed, the t.v worked, quiet location and new towels each day if required. Best of all a couple of minutes walk to the park and ride which took just 12 minutes to the city centre and last bus back was 11.30 so we had time to soak up the evening atmosphere.... more

Stayed for 1 night on a business trip. The hotel, located in a car park, is a bedroom factory with very basic room amenities (no shampoo, no satellite TV etc) and on-site catering amounts to a couple of vending machines. Across the car park is a Little Chef. Very convenient location for the A34 but only stay here if location... more

The Travelodge in Oxford offers no amenities. I didin't even get a hand towel! No telephone in room, no shampoo, internet was offline, room was completely spartan... Also, travel between central Oxford and the hotel is either expensive or inconvenient (evening and night bus connections are infrequent and nonexistent, respectively). Pick a hotel in the city center that is 15... more
