Of course it's supposedly a Hilton with a decent standard but don't let that fool you; It's actually an average travelodge, but with a decomposing decor, no soda or ice machine (I had an executive room) and the queue for (a rather average) breakfast that seems to take forever. Having stayed at the Bath Hilton a year ago and enjoyed our stay, we returned for a 4 night stay. While we were there in July 2007, the hotel was undergoing refurbishment to the tune of 2.8 million pounds. The location of this hotel cannot be faulted. It is very central to the Baths, the Guidhall, shops and bars. The station is approximately 5 minutes walk. Stayed here one night with a Globus Tour. Booked as a Single, I got 2 twins. This is good because it's more room than I expected. The room was newly updated and came with all the amenities (flat screen TV, coffee service, pants press, iron, hair dryer, shampoo + shower gels). Very clean, no problems. We booked at the 'business' rate, which from the description would be a 'modern room with power shower and plasma tv'. The room was dated and worn, the LCD screen was poor quality, and the bathroom while actually fairly modern looking by no means had a power shower.
