They need to do some serious work with the staff. Made to feel like every small request/query was a major imposition to them. Echo the other comments here. The staff are pretty useless, the food is poor, and the overall running of the place average. Not 5 star as it claims. The venue is lovely, and the gardens great. However, the setting is ruined by a fairly average experience inside. more

I am disgusted with this hotel and would wholeheartedly not recommend it. The staff are verging on incompetent and when a serious issue was addressed to staff - the provision of an iron with all the wires exposed - I was not offered an apology or any acknowledgement that a serious accident could have happened.
