the positive,staff were friendly and responded to complaint promptly,hotel security high. The negative,the carpet had not seen a hoover or clean for a long time.The walls were paper thin and the noise outside at night is high. If your young and looking for nightlife and restaurants this may suit you,otherwise forget it. more

Starting with the pros, the reception staff were very friendly and always helped us when it was needed. There is security at night to prevent any revellers from local clubs entering the hotel. I stayed here whilst in Birmingham for a conference. It's location is about 10 min walk from City centre, but surrounded by restaurants, so quite fragrant. Very noisy as its also surrounded by bars. I stayed here in Feb 2007. I was in birmingham for a conference. It is in a great location It s fine for the price. Nicer than I expected hotel reception.
