I am a newly diagnosed celiac, requiring a gluten free diet (no wheat, barley or rye). So many restaurants cannot say whether many of their dishes are gluten free that I am often restricted to have steak. (A celiac will pretty well know what is OK, but gravies and sauces are particularly problematic - I often take a flask of... more

My wife, 11 month old son and I stayed at the Dormy for one night, travelling back from a weekend in Bristol, and to celebrate our 5th year wedding anniversary. The location is pretty breathtaking, with wonderful views of the Cotswolds and nearby Broadway village. Our first impression (other than the Dormy is closer to a 4 star rating than... more

We stayed just one night taking advantage of their "Sunday Night Great Escape" promotion and stayed in one of their lovely cottage suites. The room was almost perfect (disturbed only slightly by idiots driving past the hotel at stupid speeds in the early hours). The food in the Barn Owl bar was very delicious in perfect sized portions. We were... more

This is the first hotel I have booked on the strength of Trip Advisor reviews and I wasn't disappointed! The service was fantastic, the room was perfect (we stayed in a 'normal' double not the new deluxe doubles) and we loved the huge fireplace where we sat and read the papers. I overheard another guest saying they had been going... more

My husband and I had a long weekend at Dormy House for his birthday (and to escpae the children for a few days!) The hotel is beautiful. Public rooms- Main Restaurant - nooks and crannies, exposed stone and very cosy (a little warm during a busy Saturday night dinner) Conservatory restaurant - light and airy (a little cold on a... more

My husband and I stayed at the Dormy House for a one-night break between Christmas and New Year. Good for walkers and fresh-air lovers set in a beautiful area of the Cotswolds - we loved Broadway. We booked the 'Sunday Night Special' deal which offers Dinner, Bed and Breakfast included in the price. For a four-poster room we paid £170... more

I was recently fortunate enough to attend a fantastic Wellbeing day at the Dormy House with Nutritionial therapist Lisanne Davidson. The day started at a leisurely pace with tea and yummy gluten free biscuits, followed by a fascinating presentation from Lisanne on fighting off the winter bugs. I had no idea our livers had such a huge job description!. Lisanne... more

When we arrived at Broadway we began to think we should have booked to stay at the Lygon Arms. However, after 2 blissful days at the Dormy we could not have been happier to have chosen the Dormy. Our suite was quite new but in a traditional style (as per our booking request). The suite was a very good size... more

Here for a wedding so can't really comment on the locality or tourism, but the hotel is very nice in a country setting. We had a executive room outside the main hotel building which was built fairly recently and was great - all the mod cons like flat screen, mood lighting and a nice large room with it's own external... more

I just stayed at the Dormy House Hotel over the Bank Holiday Monday with some friends I had invited and I can only confirm the previous comments. The rooms are quite spacious and rather cute and charming, the staff is very efficient, courteous, helpful and polite without going over the top which sometimes irritates and annoys me and the food... more
