Selected Castlebank Hotel based on reveiws and was not disappointed. Had a 3 night stay while on business in North Wales and needed a central base ideally with parking. The decor of the hotel and room is new and homely, with a large very comfortable bed, and tea and coffee facilities. The shower room was small but adequate, everything was... more
We stayed 2 nights at the Castlebank Hotel June 2008. Although listed as B & B the hotel was far superior than the last 3 4* hotels we had used. The hotel is spotless clean and perfect. We only stayed B & B as we were joining friends in the evenings. The cooked breakfast was offered by selecting from a... more

I stayed one night in the small single room with private bath. The hotel itself is lovely with a beautiful view of the castle walls and over Conwy. The Castlebank Hotel is located in one of the most lovely towns found anywhere in the world! The Hotel is located on a hill right outside the town wall (Conwy is one of the few fully medieval walled cities in the world). The view from the front veranda is wonderful...with a view of the town, the castle, the walls, and... more

Each room was decorated with its own individuality, which made the house feel very welcoming, along with the lovely lounge areas, restaurant, bar etc. What makes the stay here so great was the fantastic welcome from the owners, so helpful, freindly,... more
Excellent stay at this hotel. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners - even to the point of sourcing a breakfast for me. The owners understood about my allergies and provided a good variety of food for me. Loved the homely feel to the hotel. We will definately return to this hotel and is the best hotel we stayed... more
