Ideal base for holidays in Snowdonia. Lovely views. Scenic local walks. Very comfortable, reasonable accommodation. Highly recommend the breakfasts! Friendly and very welcoming proprietor. Lots of choice for eating out - all within walking distance. Will definitely return. more

We have spent 5 days in Wales at Tyn y Fron B&B. This is a place I really want to recommend.. The welcome is fantastic, the house is so close to the village.. Our room was very comfortable with a fantastic bed (amazing down duvet). As for the breakfast it was really good with lots of choice and so fresh... more

We stayed at Tyn-y-Fron for a long weekend in 'sunny' August. Lesley was very welcoming and helped us settle in, suggesting alternatives to the walks we had planned when the weather turned on us. The setting of the B&B is spectacular, with pine forests covering the surrounding hills - it certainly wasn't a bad sight to wake up to every... more

The house is in a quiet area outside the town, but it is an easy walk from there into the town centre, where there are plenty of places to... more

We stayed in Tyn y Fron over the busy bank-holiday weekend. Why Tyn y Fron is only a 4 star B&B is beyond me. Surely it deserves to have 5 stars. It is set in wonderful surroundings and has a quiet and peaceful ambiance. Tyn y Fron is one of those rare guest houses where the guests ALWAYS come first.... more

Apart from the beautifully tasteful decoration, perfect location and pretty much everything lovely on tap (nice biscuits in room, especially). This place excells because of the kindness and friendliness of its owner Lesley. I stayed here briefly as part of a charity bike ride and therefore didn't have time to stop for a propper brecky. During my very short stay... more
