Stayed for 1 night on the 4th July 2008. We were welcomed by one of the managers who was very friendly and asked if she could arrange anything for our stay. Check in was really quick and our room was ready for us straight away. The hotel is probably in the best location for shopping, nightlife, millenium statium, CIA ,... more

I have just spent 2 nights at this hotel with 15 friends. We travelled by train and the walk from the station was easy, rooms were comfortable, leisure facilities excellent and breakfast was included so we were able to fill ourselves up for the day! The only downside for me was the noise from nearby bars and clubs which -... more

Stayed for 1 night only for a show at the Millenium Stadium which is 5 minutes away and can be seen from the hotel. Also the main train station is also 5 minutes away and so are the the shops and bars etc. Was shown around the leisure facilities which look excellent, a huge gym and nice looking pool although... more

Stayed here for two nights and had a lovely time. Hotel is super close to the train station and the town centre. My room was huge, with two double beds, and the bathroom was quite large and a had a towel warmer (great for drying clothes). Breakfast came with the room and there was a great selection of foods to... more

We used this hotel as a base for the weekend and found it very good. The station is 5 minutes walk away and you are right in the centre. The rooms were ok and the beds very comfortable with all the extras we needed for a pleasant stay. we were slightly worried about the noise from the bars on Mill... more

When using a car, the hotel is almost impossible to get at due to building around the hotel. Prices of the parking are also not cheap, but you are in the centre of the city. Rooms are ok, but noisy: at one end of the hotel you get the noise of the trainstation. On the other end you get the... more

I stayed in the Marriott and have to say i thought it was a brilliant place to stay. We arrived on 2nd May until 5th which was also the rugby weekend so the town was packed. It was in the heart of town 5 minutes walk from the railway station which is £3 from airport or you can get a... more

If you stay at this hotel on a Friday or Saturday night, be warned, take ear-plugs. The bars directly opposite the hotel have music blasting out until 2.00am. In fact they have music playing OUTSIDE some of them, how they get away with it I have no idea, maybe its for the smokers. Anyway, apart from a late night the... more

I was happy that they had SkySports in the bar and the room. I was in my room watching Arsenal v. Man U and working away. The lobby was reminiscent of previous Marriott stays from years back, but the rooms were nondescript. The £15 fee for wireless was over the top, but to be expected - oh, and I had... more
