Myself and my 4 daughters stayed here over the weekend. The room was basic but very clean, plenty of clean Towels and the bedding was fresh and bright. Stayed in the hotel (use of this term is a possible misrepresentation). I believe the normal tariff is about £30 pp bed and breakfast. Because it was an "event in Cardiff" week-end the rate was £60. 11 of us stayed at the Abbey Hotel in July! For most of the girls it was the first time in Wales and the staff at the Abbey were great ambassadors for the Welsh!
