Me and my husband treated ourselves to a weekend in Belfast without the kiddies, stayed Friday and Saturday night. Location of hotel was excellent with being close to both cities Belfast and Lisburn for a bit of shopping. Bedroom & bathroom was clean, decor homely. We were so pleasantly surprised at the standard of this hotel. The room had been recently refurbished and it was really first class. Absolutely spotless with really nice neutral colour scheme. Stayed in this hotel last week. I can't tell you how bad it was. It was as bad as its worst reviews, sadly. Yes it's stuck in a time warp, desperately needs refurbishing. Very nice staff, but an embarassment for them to have to work in. Avoid. more
